This is a recognised Business Analysis role where the focus lies on overall design of the various models ranging from business context model to the application landscape, and the consistency between models and the migration plan. The Business Architect role is intended for a Senior Business Analyst who regards Architecture as his or her second capability and holds an equal proficiency in that discipline. In this role we expect to see a Business Architect acting as a lead analyst for a major Business Analysis engagement. There are two levels of proficiency: the Enterprise Business Architect and the Global Business Architect. The distinction between the two levels is based on the years of experience, the complexity of previous engagements and complexity of the client environment. Where the Global Business Architect is the higher level of proficiency. The Enterprise Business Analyst is considered to be role of similar weight and stature as the Enterprise Business Architect.
